Minutes approved---Moved Howard; Seconded. Discussion followed. Motion passed 7-0

Discussion of replacement of alternates, Doc wants to step down.

 

Treasury report approved--- approved with corrections.

Motion passed to pay Council of Council's bible page.

 

2000 NATIONAL TRUCK-IN REPORT-

Getting stuff together,

Discussed water situation--- fixed.

discussion of PR and that the people are working on the situation. Plenty of water and ice for those that might be concerned.

Supported by chamber of commerce by hanging banner down town. Tethered balloon and Van show will be open to public.

Looking for day vendors                                        _

Discussion of operations and placement of gate and the including of town in to organization of event and contacting all the town business's so that they all work together.

They have new bathroom facilities and new buildings. Discussion of South of the Border pre-warm-up party.

Vanners will have power and water. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday till noon. Based on lottery results for entry you will be able to get into the grounds on Monday at noon. You will get into grounds and then have two days to just get together or tour and the Nats will start on Wednesday at 10:30am or 12:00 noon. The ceremony may not be at the gate but still be the official opening.

Show and Shine-There will be canopy for show and shine participants.

Also, Vendors will be in the same area and a cooling station with bottled water will be provided.

Discussion of show and shine and classifications. We do classifications but not the official judging. The show and shine in a box. Howard will provide the classifications and information. Taz says Tammy will send all the information from 27th Nationals if asked.

BIDS FOR 2001-Northern IL. and Wisconsin group July 18-22, 2002 at Dodge County Fairgrounds
, Beaver Dam. There have been many improvements to the grounds and power system.

HOAVC/Hardcore vanners will be in doing the Warm-up Party July 16-18,2002.

Florida had a problem with the grounds and the money for the grounds. New grounds have too many permanent residents near the grounds and this would be a problem. They are still looking for a grounds for 2003.


New business-Announce at Council of Council meeting the bids and who got the bid. This year’s Nats will be first then next years will be announced.
