Tim – when did you start the bid prep?  Wednesday night!

-        need info packets for all – how long to get the info to us – settled on 30 days

-        there is a second bid – US.   Love the enthusiasm but we do need to have the requirements met.

Billo – Budget is important current gate fee increase will only give them a slight margin to cover the grounds. Then there is everything else.

Reviewing the costs of trailers.

Astro – security – it is a large grounds so covering the grounds.

Henry – what days will Nats be see above, what is the electric provided by service?

Handicap accessibility. Yes

Joe – fund raising discussion – do you have funds available to get start up. Will reach out to other previous hosts to see if they would sponsor partially. They have access to funds to get things rolling till they can do

Lew – watch out for dry camping stipulations

Cathy – Charity plans to leave behind?  Foose charity for his daughter ( in exchange for appearance)

“Got your six” – PTSD Support dogs

First and foremost pay it forward to the Nats to build it up.

Lew – young bands – there are good ones out there...need to watch that they can actually do it right out side. You may need to put a PA into your plans so that a lesser good band.

Sonya – the Van got us there and the band is secondary but can be a nice bonus.

Coop – Donnie's survey did show music was a concern.

Judith – bands advertising on their site – don't that way people do not know about a party to crash

Liability of drinking and driving – if you come and party, you staying over night.

Kato – possible to get the CA kids out with a different music selection.

Tim – we need to see budget, names on who will do what, we are here to help you make it the most successful Nats to keep it going forward.

Matchstick wants the branding and history to go forward.

Separate discussion – With Matchstick

Noticing after he did the Best of's last year.  Judging can get a little too bias...the sheet was run out the window

If MOFO and             Coops Surfink              Deathstar

No theme                  all theme                      full theme

   No name                   points                           points

   0                               points                           points

Best of ? WTF

Summary is we should all think about this and bring proposal to July meeting.

Matchstick – idea of tightening up the list of people judging?

Tim back to bid discussion:

March 3rd is the deadline for them to get info, then we need to discuss and vote.

We have up to the first day of 2017 Nats to announce 2018 Nats.

Lew motioned, Chooie seconded to adjourn at 6PM.
